With Huang Qi, for Qi and Blood Deficiency.
With Gan Cao, moderates spasms and relieves abdominal pain.
With Chuan Xiong, harmonizes, nourishes and invigorates the Blood and disperses Blood Stasis.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 4.5-15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, relieves pain, clears Heat and cools the Blood.
With Chuan Xiong and Dang Gui, for Blood-Stasis induced gynecological disorders and trauma induced pain.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 3-10g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi, expels Wind and alleviates pain.
With Dang Gui, for Wind-Damp Invasion blocking the Blood vessels causing pain, numbness, and paralysis.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 5-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood and nourishes Yin.
Rx. Astragali Huang Qi 9-30g Tonifies Qi and Blood, tonifies Wei Qi, stabilizes the Exterior, aids circulation of moisture downward from the face, promotes urination, reduces edema and relieves numbness and pain.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 3-10g Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen, induces sweating, expels Wind-Dampness and clears Dampness from the Lower Jiao.
With Chuan Xiong, Bai Zhi and Qiang Huo, for Exterior Wind-Cold-Dampness.
With Huang Bai, for pain, swelling, and weakness of the lower extremities or skin lesions due to Wind-Dampness and atrophy disorder.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-14g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moderates spasms, alleviates pain and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
Rx. et Rz. Notopterygii Qiang Huo 3-10g Releases the exterior, disperses Cold, expels Wind-Cold-Dampness, unblocks painful obstruction and alleviates pain.
With Chuan Xiong, for headache and generalized body aches and pains associated with the common cold or painful obstruction.
With Cang Zhu, for a heavy-headed sensation.
Rx. Angelicae Pubescentis Du Huo 3-10g Dispels Wind-Dampness, disperses Wind-Cold-Dampness, releases the Exterior and alleviates pain.
With Fang Feng, for numbness in the legs.
With Qiang Huo, for joint pain and numbness.

Rz. Zingiberis Recens Sheng Jiang 1-10g Releases the Exterior, induces perspiration, disperses Cold and reduces the toxicity of other herbs.
Rx. Achyranthis Bidentatae Niu Xi 6-16g Invigorates the Blood, expels Blood Stasis, nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin, strengthens the sinews and bones,benefits the joints and clears Damp-Heat in the Lower Jiao.
With Du Zhong, for low back and extremity pain and weakness due to Bi pain or Kidney Deficiency.
Cx. Cinnamomi Rou Gui 1.5-5g Disperses deep Cold, warms and unblocks the channels and vessels, alleviates pain and assists the generation of Qi and Blood.
Rz. Menispermi Bei Dou Gen 3-12g Clears Heat, resolves toxicity, dispels Wind, stops pain and resolves Dampness.
With Du Huo and Wei King Xian, for Wind-Damp Bi.
Rx. Clematidis Wei Ling Xian 3-16g Dispels Wind-Dampness, unblocks the channels and alleviates pain.
With Qiang Huo, for Wind-Damp Bi causing joint pain (especially in the upper joints).
With Niu Xi, for Wind-Damp Bi causing joint pain (especially in the lower joints).
With Rou Gui and Dang Gui, for musculo-skeletal pain caused by accumulation of Wind and Dampness.
Fr. Aurantii Immaturus Zhi Shi 3-10g Breaks up Stagnant Qi, reduces accumu-lation and descends Qi.
Cx. Eucommiae Du Zhong 8-16g Tonifies the Kidneys and Liver, strengthens the sinews and bones and aids the smooth flow of Qi and Blood.
Cx. Phellodendri8 Huang Bai 3-12g Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao.
With Cang Zhu and Niu Xi, for Damp-Heat leg Qi.
With Dang Gui and Niu Xi, for Sore and weak low back and legs.
With Cang Zhu, eliminates Dampness and clears Heat for: Lower Jiao Damp-Heat with pain, swelling, and weakness in the lower limbs and regulates painful obstruction in the legs and knees.
